Chris Forrest began Forrest Builders in 2013 with more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry.
Originally from Ocala, FL, he began building his career as a carpenter’s assistant in the early 1970’s. Chris obtained his residential construction license in 1978. Obtaining his certified builders license in 1988, he and his family moved to St. Augustine. Chris began building spec houses for which he became known for his honesty and eye-catching craftsmanship. He completed several projects for the City of St. Augustine that include the renovation of the Visitor’s Information Center, the town square gazebo, the Old Garden House, and portions of City Hall. Chris’ expertise in craftsmanship can be seen all over the greater St. Johns county area and Jacksonville. He specializes in custom residential home construction, historical restorations, restaurants, and medical facilities. Chris Forrest has established a track record of successful projects while demonstrating excellent management and leadership. His history and wide spectrum of experience provides a broad base for understanding the ever changing industry of construction. This, along with his uncanny ability to stay within budget, makes him a valuable asset ensuring excellent quality.
